Triple Punch Watermelon Card

This is a card that we are going to make in class this weekend. With summer coming up, who can resist the idea of watermelon?!? Thanks to a fellow demo for coming up with this super easy idea on making the watermelon.  Definately a lot easier than the way I started with gluing all the little seeds on! Using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, punch out the 3 different shapes in Basic Black, Old Olive & Melon Mambo. Glue the layers together, then cut in half or into wedges & you have your watermelon. After I put my watermelons on the background, I then ran it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder. Simple Thank You

Here is a simple thank you card using the butterfly stamp from the Strength & Hope set.  The small butterfly, set in the center with a brad, is from the Beautiful Wings Emboslits Die. You get 5 different sizes & embossed textures from this die.  The colors are Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant, & Daffodil Delight. The thank you is from the hostess set Because I Care and punched out with the small oval punch.

Fun Flowers Notepad

Another cute idea I found online.  Who isn't in need of paper every now & then when out and about.  What a cute way to keep notes handy in your purse or bag!  The cover uses Melon Mambo cardstock.  The punched flower is Tangerine Tango & Tempting Turquoise with a rhinestone in the center.  The paper in the middle is just plain ol' copy paper. The Big Shot was used with the Fun Flowers Bigz Die & the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  The flower on the front is made with the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch from the new Summer Mini catalog. You get 3 different punch shapes from one punch!

Pieced Background

This is a card I found on our demo website & had to copy.  I did change the colors to make it a little more springy for me.  I used Daffodil Delight & Old Olive cardstock with Greenhouse Gala designer paper.  The flower is made with the Fun Flowers Bigz Die.  I embossed the background pieces & flower with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder using the Big Shot. The stamped saying is from the Hostess set Occasional Quotes.
