Altered Corkboard Message Center
Here is a message center I made for a convention project I'm signed up for. I altered a cork tile square using Stampin Up paper, die cuts, punches & ink. Items used: Beyond the Garden DSP, Melon Mambo & Pacific Point cardstock, Jayne's Type Alphabet, Lace Ribbon Border punch, handheld punch, Big Shot, Fun Flowers Die, Top Note Die, Scallop Square Clear Die, Daffodil Delight Ribbon, Brad, Magnet Sheet & Window Sheet. Placing a window sheet over colored cardstock makes a great mini dry erase area. After seeing this, my daughter now wants me to make one for her. Can't wait to see what colors & design she picks out!

Waterfall Card
I really enjoyed making this card. I was a little skeptical at first, because it looked kind of difficult. It actually was pretty easy to make. This is a project for our technique class & I'll probably use it as one of my swaps for convention next month. Colors used: old olive, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight & whisper white. The ticket corner punch was used on the first card layer. The stamp set is Fabulous Florets. Daffodil Ribbon & metallic brads also used on the card. When you pull the ribbon at the botton, the cards "flip" through all the images until you get to the sentiment stamped at the bottom. It's a pretty fun card!
Sunny Fun Birthday
A birthday card made for a friend. Cardstock: Tempting Turquosie & DSP from a pack when Sale-A-Bration was going on. Daffodil Delight ribbon. The ice cream treats stamp is from Sunny Fun & the greeting is from the hostess set Swirls & Curls Verses. Both are available in the Summer Mini. I used markers & blender pens with the ink pads to color in the ice cream treats.

Elements of Style Wedding

This is a wedding card I made for a family wedding we have this weekend. Elements of Style stamp set was used for the design on the bottom. The outside & inside sayings are from the hostess set Occaional Quotes. I embossed the design & outside saying with black embossing powder. Whisper White Organza Ribbon & Basic Pearls accent the card. The little flowers at the top were made with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I also used the same design on the inside of the card. The extra white piece of paper is just covering up our wishes to the happy couple, since I forgot to take the picture before I signed it.

Graduation
My daughter gave this cute little cap to a friend of hers that graduated. The greeting was written on the card that made up the motar board. I placed a couple layers of cardstock so the school colors could be incorporated. She put money in the base of the card. The base was made using the petal cone die. I then adheared the motar board to the base and topped it off with a homemade tassle. These would also make cute table decorations for your graduate.

Triple Punch Watermelon Card
This is a card that we are going to make in class this weekend. With summer coming up, who can resist the idea of watermelon?!? Thanks to a fellow demo for coming up with this super easy idea on making the watermelon. Definately a lot easier than the way I started with gluing all the little seeds on! Using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, punch out the 3 different shapes in Basic Black, Old Olive & Melon Mambo. Glue the layers together, then cut in half or into wedges & you have your watermelon. After I put my watermelons on the background, I then ran it through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder. This is known as the embedded embossing technique. Check out our new Triple Layer Punches in the Summer Mini!
Simple Thank You
Here is a simple thank you card using the butterfly stamp from the Strength & Hope set. The small butterfly, set in the center with a brad, is from the Beautiful Wings Emboslits Die. You get 5 different sizes & embossed textures from this die. The colors are Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant, & Daffodil Delight. The thank you is from the hostess set Because I Care and punched out with the small oval punch.
